FPN is grateful for the generous support of our board member, Van Salmans. Van has generously agreed to match donations for his upcoming matching gift campaign.
From Van:
With many of us getting our vaccinations and feeling more comfortable about getting back to a more normal life, spring marches forward as do we. And with that optimism, I’m asking you to help me find a cure for an insidious disease—peripheral neuropathy (PN)—by making a donation to the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy (FPN).
FPN accomplished a lot in 2020. We reached a milestone of over 2,000 registered PN patients in a one-of-a-kind biobank of genetic samples available for research and studies. We expanded our partnerships with several hospitals/universities to promote research. We enhanced our educational programs to include informational webinars for PN patients. And very excitingly, on November 10, 2020, we succeeded in getting “peripheral neuropathy” listed among the conditions eligible for research under the Peer-Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP) in the fiscal year 2021 Defense Appropriations Act.
But we need to do more. And that is why I am asking you to help contribute to this cause. I’m going to MATCH all donations to the FPN from you, dollar for dollar. I encourage you to give with the intent of making me dig deep into my pockets.
