Happy Holidays! I’m always on the search for healthy snacks, so I’ve decided to feature one of my all-time favorite snack foods. Keep the healthy part secret, they taste so good people won’t believe that they’re a healthy choice.

Introducing Energy Truffles

They’re very easy to put together. Some of the key ingredients are walnuts, which can reduce inflammation, are rich in antioxidants and omega 3s. I’ve also included dates for a little sweetness. Did you know that dates are considered a superfood? They’re packed with vitamins and antioxidants!

I like to make a big batch of these and keep them in the freezer. The coconut oil prevents them from freezing completely, so there is no need to thaw them before digging in!
