Albany Medical College Receives $1.9 Million NIH Grant to Study Neuropathy
Researchers at Albany Medical College have been awarded a $1.9 million grant from the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke to study peripheral nerve repair. The research will focus on the role of Schwann cells in the peripheral nervous system, a system that connects the nerves running from the brain and spinal cord to the rest of the body.
